Interview with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County
I joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County in February of 2009 and think it is a very important organization for Orange County. I truly believe in paying it forward and this is one way of doing that. Even if you have a busy life give them a call and see if you can help in anyway possible. They always need volunteers as well as donations to keep the project going.
Interview with Michael Alpert A.K.A “The Coach”
I met Mike in 2009 through LinkedIn. I appreciated his insights into his new venture of business coaching, which is an area I am very passionate about myself. Instead of trying to find another corporate position like so many of his colleagues he decided to start his own business.
Interview with Amy Hendrickson
I met Amy at the monthly networking event Orange County Connectors™, which I co-founded with Todd Herschberg. I was intrigued by the fact that she decided to leave her position in the turmoil of late 2008 and start her own business. She is not the first that started her own business, but she was the first I knew that decided to leave her job to pursue her dream. In the interview you will also hear about her interesting story how she eventually arrived in sunny Orange County.
Interview with David Brodeur A.K.A The HR Guy
I met David a few months ago, when he reached out to me via my group We Are Orange County!™. Knowing my quest to get LinkedIn to recognize Orange County he invited me as a guest to a PIHRA event, which featured a speaker from LinkedIn. Since than we have met at several different events and I got to know him as the HR Guy. Please enjoy the below interview and I hope it will give everyone a better insight into David Brodeur.
Interview with Norman Naylor A.K.A The Connector
I met Norman earlier this year after he was introduced to me via one of my LinkedIn connections. In the weeks following our first introduction we met again at several networking events and I could always easily identify him, because he was wearing his famous hat. Norman is extremely good at business match making and that is why I gave him the nickname “The Connector”. It takes a special skill to listen and realize once you found 2 people that you think should connect and sit down for coffee. Norman has that gift and I was fortunate enough to be introduced to a lot of great people through Norman. Please enjoy the below interview and I hope it will give everyone a better insight into Norman Naylor.
Interview with Tim Tyrell-Smith A.K.A “Tim’s Strategy”
I met Tim in the turmoil that was 2009. We are both regulars at Laguna Niguel Connectors and have followed each other progress over the past 12 months. I admire Tim for the great work he has put into establishing his blog Tim’s Strategy and all the great resources he is willing to share for free. Please take advantage of his generosity and recommend his blog to anyone that is in need for some extra tips in their current job search.
Interview with Rochelle Veturis A.K.A The Twitter Queen of Orange County
I had the distinct pleasure of interviewing my good friend Rochelle Veturis. I tried to capture the amazing person she is in 10 minutes or less. Rochelle is known in Orange County, CA for her expertise on Social Media especially Twitter. She is a very giving person and is always willing to help others. She is part of the OC Triumvirate, which includes her two sister who are also very energetic and fun. I hope you enjoy the video.
Connect OC Event not to be confused with Orange County Connectors™
Once again Paul was involved in organizing another great social media event in Orange County. Besides having a great time the event also raised money for a local charity.
“Hush Hush Social Media Event” in Orange County
I hope you enjoy this video, which was shot from the “Hush Hush Social Media Event” organized by Paul. This was a planned surprise event to celebrate Neal’s first book release. The Social Media Who’s Who attended and we had a great night. Can’t wait until the next Social Media Event in Orange County.
